Numerical Simulation of Effect of Inclination Angle on Heat Storage Properties of Phase Change Paraffin

چکیده

In order to explore the heat storage properties of phase change paraffin, a calculation model for melting paraffin was established based on equivalent capacity method. A finite element software (COMSOL) used study influence different inclination angles paraffin. The results show that process is determined by conduction and natural convection transfer, transfer plays significant role in Phase exhibits distinct efficiency under angles. When changes from -90° 90°, time decreases gradually. , slowest, when fastest, speed increased about 8.6 times.
